We were in the business when wood rails were being replaced by steel, when hoist-ways were enclosed by metal bars, when elevators had attendants and when controls were built using mechanical relays. The industrial revolution was maturing and large companies made their own parts. Customers choices were limited to the large companies who manufactured all componants.

Today the business is governed by new technologies brought on by the tek/knowledge revolution.  The elevator business has leveraged technology from several other industries.  Customers can lower their costs by using Liftek due to lower overhead, and our ability to provide excellent, timely service and access to the latest equipment.

Scott is a licensed Illinois elevator mechanic with a Bachelors degree in electronic engineering. Scott has worked as a mechanic and modernization manager for Otis, and software developer for Tellabs.
